Amalfi Coast
A villa above the sea, among the lemon terraces
Welcome to Amalfi
A late-19th-century villa on terraces above the sea, with lemon groves, a pool at the cliff edge and a boat to take you along the coast. Open from April to October.
Dinner on the terrace under the lemon trees.
A pool on the lowest terrace, with the sea below.
A wooden gozzo to Positano, Amalfi and hidden coves.

The story
An English writer bought the villa in 1890 and spent forty summers planting its terraces with lemons, jasmine and bougainvillea. His library is now our lounge.
We open for the season in April, when the lemons are ripening, and close at the end of October when the last boats stop running.
Eat and drink
Tables on the terrace beneath the lemon pergola, and a menu of the coast: fish, lemons, tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella.
