Vellacourt Paris

A Haussmann building on the Left Bank, with an English accent

Welcome to Paris

Our first hotel outside Britain: a Haussmann building on a quiet Left Bank street, with a winter-garden restaurant, a bar that makes an English breakfast martini, and Saint-Germain at the door.

The story

Since 1867

Built in 1867, the building was a publisher’s offices for a century, and the reading room is now our bar. We kept the ironwork balconies and the courtyard, and added the winter garden under glass.

It’s a Parisian hotel run the Vellacourt way: afternoon tea, a proper cup of tea at breakfast, and staff who will tell you where they eat.
