London
A red-brick townhouse on a quiet Mayfair square
Welcome to Mayfair
Five Victorian houses knocked into one, on a garden square two minutes from Bond Street. Seventy-two rooms, a grill that London keeps coming back to, and a bar with the best martini in W1.
Dry-aged beef, Dover sole and a trolley of British cheeses, under oak panelling.
Forty seats, low light and cocktails built on English spirits.
Guests have a key to the private garden across the road.

The story
The houses were built in 1894 for a banker who wanted his daughters close by. A century later they were joined behind the original façades, and the square’s garden is still ours to share.
Inside it feels like a private house: a drawing room for afternoon tea, a library with an honesty bar, and staff who remember how you take your coffee.
Eat and drink
Oak panels, white linen and a charcoal grill. Beef from Cumbria, fish landed that morning in Cornwall, and a cheese trolley that takes its time.

Spa
Four treatment rooms, a steam room and a small gym beneath the house. Quiet, unhurried and open to guests only.
